On the one-year anniversary of her father’s passing, Lauren teased her song “Little Things.” Alongside the snippet, she shared an emotional message about her journey through the past year.

“I’ve spent the last 365 days learning how to live in a world that doesn’t have my daddy in it,” she wrote. “Some days I still forget and reach for the phone to tell him something. Other days, I sit in silence and let the grief come in.”

She went on to explain that grief often shows up in unexpected moments—holidays, birthdays, family milestones, or even quiet daily routines.

“Sometimes I dream you’re here and wake up to the painful reminder that you’re gone. Life keeps moving forward, yet I still feel stuck in what was. These days, I move slower, softer, and more aware of what truly matters—and what doesn’t.”

“Little Things” Resonates With Fans

At the end of her tribute, Lauren shared a short preview of “Little Things.” The heartfelt ballad struck an immediate chord with her fans. When she officially announced its release date of August 8, the comments were filled with excitement and love.

One day before the single dropped, Lauren explained the meaning behind the song:
