Keith Urban & Lainey Wilson Release Music Video For “Go Home W U”

In May, Country Stars Keith Urban and Lainey Wilson Teamed Up For a New Duet Titled “Go Home W U.”

The song will be featured on Urban’s upcoming studio album, High, which will be released on September 20.

The country stars first hinted at their collaboration in a video posted to their social media. In the video, Urban is seen driving Wilson to the airport as she heads to Australia, Urban’s homeland, for her Country’s Cool Again tour. As they arrive at the airport, Urban gets out of the car to help unload Wilson’s bags and says: “Honestly? I wish I could go home with you. That’s a good song title. We should do that.”

Urban Reveals That the Song Wasn’t Originally Planned as a Duet.

In a behind-the-scenes clip shared on his Instagram, Urban says that a close friend suggested the idea, and when it came time to choose the perfect collaborator, he already knew exactly who he wanted to work with to create the upbeat bar anthem.

“I already had Lainey on my radar to do something with her because I love her voice and her vibe. She was perfect,” he said in the snippet.

Lainey Wilson and Keith Urban Drop Music Video for “Go Home W U”

In the video, Urban kicks things off by taking the stage at a bar for a karaoke-style performance of the song. When the chorus hits, Wilson appears on a small TV screen off to the side, joining Urban as the audience sings and dances along. Urban then gets transported onto the TV with Wilson, showcasing the duo singing together side by side. This segment of the video appears to have been filmed during their CMA Fest performance, based on the outfits they wear while performing.

“Oh, I know that it’s closing time and / I won’t lie, yes, I had more than a few (few) / And you know I shouldn’t be driving / I think I should probably go home with you”
