Jelly Roll Reveals He’s Lost Over 100 Pounds While On Tour
Jelly Roll has just surpassed a major milestone in his weightless journey.
The country star has been opened about his fitness goals in recent years and previously admitted that he once weighed in at 500 pounds. About six months ago, he kicked things into high gear and began to make some major lifestyle changes. He found the motivation to do so while training for the 2 Bears 5K in April that resulted in him losing 70 pounds.
In a new video shared to Instagram, Jelly Roll reveals that he’s kept up the healthy habits while on the road with the help of his personal chef/nutrition coach, Ian Larios. With dedication to consistent exercise and a good diet, he has officially lost over 100 pounds.
“Next year when y’all see me, you won’t recognize me,” he says in the opening clip.

Viewers then see Larios come into frame as he shares that Jelly Roll has been “crushing it” throughout the tour. He goes on to say that the Antioch, TN native has been spending his down time staying active by walking around the venues, playing basketball and boxing.
“He just surpassed his 100-pound weight loss,” Larios reveals.
What Does Jelly Roll’s Diet Look Like?
The personal chef goes on to share that one of the “I’m Not Okay” singer’s favorite pre-show snacks that helps him stay fueled all night long is a cup of sliced bananas with Manuka honey and stevia sweetened dark chocolate grated on top.
He’s also focused on eating a high-protein diet that tastes great. One example of these meals is a Nashville-style hot chicken which includes a chicken breast covered in potato flower and a bit of rice flower and air fried with a side of fries boiled in bone broth.
“It tricks your brain into thinking this is that nice greasy Nashville deep-fried hot chicken. He’s going to feel like he’s eating at home,” Larios shares before adding, “That 100-pound weight loss since last tour is huge.”
Jelly Roll expects to continue on his journey and lose even more weight to the point where he becomes almost unrecognizable.
