Jelly Roll Launches “Losers Run Club,” A Group For Fans Who Want To Improve Their Health

Jelly Roll Offers A Helping Hand To His Fans Who Want To Start Their Health Journey

Jelly Roll has been on a committed weight loss journey over the past year. The country star has always been open about his struggles with addiction and lifelong battle with weight gain, and now he’s more focused on his health than ever before.

His dedication to prioritizing his physical health became a serious mission around April last year when he decided to challenge himself by running a 5k marathon.

The 39-year-old took his fans along on the journey, training by running two to three miles a day. He later said that his efforts helped him lose 70 pounds, which motivated him to keep going and lose even more weight.

With consistent workouts with a personal trainer and guidance from a nutritionist, the “Save Me” singer shared that by December, he had lost 120 pounds.

After all the progress he’s made, Jelly Roll wants to help others who may be struggling with weight loss. That’s why he’s launching “Jelly Roll’s Losers Run Club.”

Jelly Roll revealed the news on his social media. In a video message, he opened up about his struggles from last year and how completing a 5k run changed his perspective.

His “Losers Run Club,” is in partnership with the fitness app Strava. It will also be a Facebook group led by trainer and experienced marathon runner Matthew Johnson. The groups will provide free tips and guidance to help participants complete their own 5k run.

The group describes itself as “a community to help those who are traditionally underserved in the running community hold each other accountable with the end goal of changing their life through hard work and moving their body.”

To join through Strava, you will need to download the app, make an account, and search for the group. If you want to use Facebook though, all you have to do is visit the group’s official page.
