Playing outdoor summer concerts is no joke! Just ask Jason Aldean who suffered a heat stroke Saturday night (July 15).
Jason Aldean was at a tour stop at Hartford, Connecticut’s Xfinity Theater when the heat got the best of him. He was in the middle of singing his 2009 hit “Crazytown” when he suddenly ran off the stage. Fan video of the incident shows Jason singing then turning his face into his arm, appearing to wipe sweat from his face, turning back to the mic then rushing off stage.
#JasonAldean runs off stage at the #xfinitytheatre show in #HartfordCT. Poor guy. It was hotter than hell. It was bad enough just standing in the pit. I can’t imagine performing in jeans, boots, and hat under all those lights in that humidity with no breeze. Hope he’s okay! ❤️ pic.twitter.com/upwFybMjvS

In a post made to social media Sunday morning, the Xfinity Theater stated that Aldean’s show will be rescheduled and confirmed that the singer had suffered a heat stroke, but was “now doing well.”

Fans came to Jason’s defense saying that the heat was incredibly intense and pointed out that the singer was performing a high-energy show dressed in blue jeans, boots and a cowboy hat.
“Sending positive thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. The sudden departure from the stage last night was worrying,” one fan wrote.
Another said, “Even though the Jason Aldeanshow was cut short tonight, he still put his all into the songs he did perform which made the night worthwhile. An artist’s health and well-being are so important but is often overlooked. These guys aren’t machines. They’re humans too.”
Jason Aldean is scheduled to perform Sunday night in Saratoga Springs, New York, at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. There’s been no announcement made about whether or not Saturday night’s events will affect Sunday’s concert.
