Hulk Hogan, Baker Mayfield Join Morgan Wallen in Tampa [Watch]
Two star athletes from different sports formats joined Morgan Wallen for his walk-out at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla. on Friday night (Oct. 4.)
During his One Night at a Time Tour, Wallen’s made a habit of bringing entertainment legends — often those with connections to the venue he’s playing — along for the ride as he walks out at the beginning of the night.
For the Tampa show, Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield was a logical choice. The football star wore a white cowboy hat as he flanked Wallen during the walkout.
Wallen sported a red #47 jersey with the name “Lynch” across the back, a shout-out to football executive and former safety John Lynch, who played for the Buccaneers under that number.

Also joining Wallen’s posse as he hit the stage was wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, who donned a red bandanna and a shirt reading “Real American Beer” for the big moment. Hogan shared video of the moment, which started with a group hug backstage as the trio exchanged cheers and pump-up exclamations before they headed out toward the stage.
“The send off before the show. Last night was epic,” Hogan wrote.

Wallen’s Friday night concert was a make-up show, after the singer scratched the second of his planned two-night stand in Tampa back in July due to illness.
After that postponement, Jelly Roll — who was Wallen’s opening act at the time — performed a pop-up show at a bar in Tampa specifically for ticket-holders to Wallen’s canceled event. Hogan was actually there for that concert, too: He was spotted jamming out to Jelly’s set. It just so happened that it was Hogan’s wife Sky’s birthday that night, and Jelly took a break from his set to sing her “Happy Birthday” from the stage.
Wallen has been helming his One Night at a Time Tour over the course of 2023 and 2024. He’s down to the last two nights on the trek: The tour will wrap with back-to-back nights in Charlotte, N.C. next weekend.
