Carrie Underwood opens up about how she knew her (now) husband Mike Fisher was the right one for her. More on their love story here!
Love is in the air! Well, it’s actually been in the air for several years now for country music superstar Carrie Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher. The pair will celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary on July 10th!
Recently, the “Cry Pretty” singer shared with People how she knew the former hockey player was ‘the one’ for her.
“I had dated guys and kind of knew, like, ‘No.’ Nothing was ever really wrong, but nothing was really right either. With him, it was like a good partnership. It was an easy relationship to be in,” Underwood explained.
She continued to say that Mike Fisher has been her right-hand man and the light in the numerous dark tunnels she’s encountered in the last couple of years – specifically three miscarriages over the course of two years.

“He is so levelheaded about everything, and when I was dealing with everything, not just emotionally but hormonally, when you’re going on that roller coaster of pregnant, not pregnant, pregnant, not pregnant, I was probably not very easy to love, to be honest. And to have somebody so even-keeled, he was my lifeline, keeping me grounded,” she noted about her man. “I feel like he is the person I was meant to be with.”
Not only are the lovebirds adorable, they have created two beautiful baby boys, Isaiah Michael (4) and Jacob Bryan (5 months).
