George Strait & Chris Stapleton Add Five New Shows To Their Iconic Stadium Tour

George Strait And Chris Stapleton Join Forces On Years-Long Stadium Tour
George Strait and Chris Stapleton are continuing their iconic stadium tour into 2025!

Although Strait “retired” from large-scale touring in 2014, “The King of Country” still performs a few shows each year. He and Stapleton performed their first show together at Kansas City’s GEHA Field in 2022.

The two superstar singers launched their stadium tour in 2023, starting with eight shows that year. They reignited the tour in 2024 and performed nine shows.

The pair delivered the debut performance of their new duet, “Honky Tonk Hall of Fame,” during one of those shows. “Honky Tonk Hall of Fame” was later included as a track on Strait’s 2024 album Cowboys and Dreamers.

Fans love seeing Strait and Stapleton together. And they apparently love touring together, because they just announced they’re continuing their stadium tour into 2025!

Considering Strait and Stapleton’s popularity, tickets are sure to go fast. Last year, Strait’s solo show at Texas’ Kyle Field broke the record for the largest single-ticketed concert in United States history, with 110,905 people in attendance.

Strait and Stapleton’s co-headling shows also draw in massive crowds. You’d think the singers would feel some pressure performing for so many people, but they’re simply having fun doing what they love.

“I keep trying to slow down a bit but you keep calling me back. Please don’t ever stop,” Strait said in a statement shared on his official website. “I still love it just as much as I always have. Thank you for an amazing year last year and I can’t wait to see you for a few more again this year. Chris will be back and glad to have Little Big Town with us in LA. For the other cities, we’ve added Parker M. to the show which will be outstanding. Can’t wait to see you!!”

Who else can’t wait to catch Strait and Stapleton on tour together this year? Watch one of their live duets below to get excited for their new shows.
