George Strait Announces New 2020 Shows: See the Dates

George Strait’s 2020 is picking up steam. The King of Country Music has revealed several new performance dates, including additional nights as part of his Strait to Vegas concert.




The country legend has revealed he’s heading to Minneapolis’ U.S. Bank Stadium on Aug. 22 for a headlining show with special guests Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town. Additional acts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets for that show are available beginning Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. CT via ticketmaster.com.

Additionally, he has announced two new dates for the Strait to Vegas show including August 28-29 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The two concerts will include an opening set from Monument recording artist Caitlyn Smith. Tickets to those shows go on sale Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. PT via straittovegas.com.

Strait has spent three years performing in Las Vegas as part of his Strait to Vegas show. His 2020 appearance schedule includes several more dates throughout January with a return to Wichita, Kansas for a concert at INTRUST Bank Arena Jan. 24, as well as Kansas City with a show at Sprint Center on Jan. 25 and Jan. 26.
