The custom, show-stopping piece combines Underwood’s love for Las Vegas and Nashville.
Carrie Underwood’s REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency made its debut in Sin City last week and one thing that had everyone talking is her jaw-dropping wardrobe.
Consisting of custom stage wear, including stunning full-length gowns, exquisite bodysuits and bedazzled rocker tees paired with shorts that showed off her toned legs, Underwood’s Las Vegas wardrobe will give any fashionista major closet envy.
“There’s something glitzy and glamour-ey about women in country music,” the seven-time GRAMMY winner shared in a behind-the-scenes clip. “We love our rhinestones, we love our wardrobe changes. We’ve been doing our own version of Vegas in Nashville for generations.”

Underwood combined her love of Vegas and Nashville, as well as her appreciation of all things glitz and glam, when her stylist, Emma Trask, enlisted Nashville-based designers Rachel Deeb of Elektrik Denim and Daniel Musto and Lani Lupton of DanielXDiamond to create a custom denim jacket for the show.
Deeb, Musto and Lupton worked tirelessly for 40+ hours combined to create the final product. They were under a tight timeline of just four days to complete the project ahead of the December 1 launch of REFLECTION.
“I had help from my roommate and we tag-teamed the jacket together on top of our normal day jobs before sending it off to the DXD to get rhinestoned,” Deeb tells us, adding, “It was stressful, but obviously worth it.”

Musto gave Country Now the exclusive details on the custom, “show-stopping statement piece,” revealing that it boasts approximately 9,000 mood ring rhinestones that create a rainbow color swirl in certain light conditions. Underwood is the first to wear the new style rhinestones. She also sports DXD fringe and rhinestones on other rotating pieces during her residency.
The “Nash-Vegas” themed denim jacket features the iconic Las Vegas sign, infamous Vegas wedding venue, A Little White Chapel, the Resorts World Casino logo, a showgirl, as well as several other nods to Vegas.
Underwood also paid tribute to Nashville, Tennessee, with the logos of the Nashville Predators hockey team, her Tennessee Farm, and the Grand Ole Opry. The custom piece also includes a painting of Lower Broadway’s famed Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge and The Ryman Auditorium.
Deeb revealed that Underwood was very “hands on” when it came to deciding which landmarks to include on the jacket.
After wearing the custom piece during a fiery performance of “Before He Cheats”, Underwood told Deeb via social media, “It looks so amazing! One of my favorite pieces I get to wear!! Thank you for all the <3 you put into it.” For Deeb and Musto, the chance to work with an icon like Underwood is not taken lightly.

“I have only been emotional over one other career accomplishment in my life and this was the second,” Deebs says. “I can’t believe something created in the basement of my house is on stage – worn by one of the largest female country artists!”
Musto adds, “Every time we get the call to work with Carrie, we are blown away at her affinity for our line. At the end of the day, we built DanielXDiamond as a visual blend of ‘country’ and ‘pop’, and Carrie perfectly embodies that vision for us time after time. Knowing that the placement of our jacket in her Vegas residency will reach thousands of international audience members is beyond humbling.”
