Because Elvis was such a major star for decades, many people grew up with him. After being a fan of someone for so long, you start to feel like you know them personally, as many of Elvis’ fans felt.

Elvis kept his personal life under wraps for the most part, and surrounded himself with his family and his close circle of friends. But fans were finally allowed to catch a glimpse of the more private side of his life when a collection of his home movies surfaced online.

The clips show Elvis during some of his happiest times with the people he loved, including his wife Priscilla and his daughter, Lisa Marie. One segment of clips shows Elvis and Priscilla enjoying some time together at the beach and the pool, and at one point Elvis can be seen wrapping her up in a big hug and planting a kiss on her cheek. How sweet!
