Dolly Parton Is Ready To Rock
Dolly Parton was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last year (2022). The induction came after some back and forth on whether or not Parton should become a member.
She initially tried to remove herself from consideration, because she didn’t believe she was the right fit for the Rock Hall. But after some thought, Parton changed her mind. She remained in the running, and was chosen as one of the inductees.
Since she’s now a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Parton has promised to release a rock album. She’s working with legendary artists such as Elton John, Joan Jett, Paul McCartney, and Stevie Nicks.

Dolly Closes Out The ACM Awards With Her New Rock Single
Those who tuned in to the 2023 ACM Awards were in for a treat from Parton. She closed out the ceremony with a debut performance of her new rock song, “World on Fire.”
“World on Fire” will serve as the lead single off of her future rock album, Rockstar.
As expected, Parton rocked the stage with her performance of “World on Fire.” She performed with a group of dancers while fire surrounded her onstage.
Parton started off wearing a massive, parachute-like skirt that resembled a globe. But she later removed the skirt and was rockin’ an all-black ensemble fit for a rockstar.
Everyone in the audience was on their feet as they listened to Parton sing. She definitely deserved that response!
As powerful as the performance was, we got goosebumps when Parton sang softy with no music at the end. Talk about a chill-inducing moment.
Head below to watch Parton perform her new rock song during the 2023 ACM Awards. What a way to end an awards ceremony!
