Carrie Underwood is a singer and songwriter who was first discovered after her participation in American Idol. Since then, she’s become one of the most successful female artists of her generation.
Carrie first met her husband Mike Fisher back in 2008 after one of her concerts, and the following year the couple got engaged. They have been married since 2010 and have two children together. Their first son, Isaiah Michael Fisher was born in 2015 and their second son, Jacob Bryan Fisher was born in 2019.
The mother-of-two posted a birthday tribute for her son Jacob on Instagram a couple of days ago. For his first birthday, Jacob got to devour a delicious looking green cake, which luckily, Carrie had captured a quick before picture so fans could see it assembled. She paired the collection of pictures with a beautiful caption, “How are you already 1 year old? You are smiley, crazy, smart, sooooo fast and into everything! And apparently, you love cake!”
Towards the end of the celebratory post, Carrie points out that Jacob is truly their miracle baby. For those who are not active followers of the country singer, he had indeed become a miracle to the couple. During an interview with CBS Sunday Morning back in 2018, Carrie Underwood had opened up about experiencing three miscarriages.

She had said: “We had got pregnant early 2017 and it didn’t work out. It happens. And then I got pregnant again in the spring, and it didn’t work out.” The trauma of a miscarriage can be devastating, and she felt both heartbroken and angry. While on the one hand, she was utterly grateful for the life she had built with Mike, she couldn’t also help but wonder why she could get pregnant but continue to lose them.
Then came her miracle: Jacob. After giving birth to her second son, Carrie uploaded an adorable post on her social media and so did her husband, Mike. His welcome post surely touched the hearts of everyone who had read it. The former hockey player said: “We didn’t know if Izzy would ever have another sibling but we learned through it all that God is in control and his timing is perfect
