Carrie Underwood has a book coming out in 2020. The CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee says a book that describes her fitness routine also goes deep inside her personal journey to overall wellness.
The book is called Find Your Path: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong with the Fit52 Life, and People shares that it details Underwood’s Fit52 program, which is based on simple exercises and dedication across 52 weeks in a year. A press release also shares that the book gets personal, covering everything from Underwood’s “passion for sports as a kid, to the pressure to look perfect and fit the mold as she launched her career after winning American Idol, to eventually discovering the importance of balance and the meaning of true health.”
Next to being known as a singer, mother of two and husband to Mike Fisher, Underwood is best known for her fitness initiatives, including a clothing line called Calia. Photos on Instagram often show her working out in her home gym, and she frequently attaches an empowering quote next to the photo that reveals a more vulnerable side to her offstage persona.
The new book promotes finding a routine that’s easy to work into your daily life, as well as healthy eating. It’s a lifelong approach that discourages fad diets and workout programs. The message of Find Your Path: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong with the Fit52 Life is described as “simple” and “practical.”
Underwood begins the next leg of her Cry Pretty Tour on Sept. 10 in San Diego. Once again, Runaway June and Maddie & Tae will open her show on a tour that lasts through Halloween. In addition to her Entertainer of the Year CMA nomination, the 36-year-old is up for Album of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2019 CMA Awards. She also returns to host this year, with longtime co-host Brad Paisley sitting it out while Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton join Underwood.
