Carrie Underwood shared that her family is OK following the deadly overnight tornadoes that hit Tennessee — including Nashville — and claimed the lives of at least 19 people.

While appearing on the “Today” show in New York City Tuesday morning, the 36-year-old “Find Your Path” author explained that her husband, Mike Fisher, looked after their children when the twister hit.

“He said he had to go upstairs at, like, 2 a.m. and grab the boys and take them down…We have like a little safe room in our house,” Underwood explained on the morning show.

“I bet everybody was crying at 2 a.m. like freaking out.”
