Carrie Underwood’s Abs Were Crazy Toned As She Rocked A Bikini On A Girls Trip

Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood is so many things—Grammy Award-winning singer, businesswoman, and fitness guru. But it’s easy to forget that she’s also a mom, wife, and sister-in-law. Well, Carrie is here with a lil’ reminder, because she just dropped photos from a recent trip with her in-laws, and they’re everything.

In case you didn’t know, Carrie is married to retired NHL player Mike Fisher, who has three siblings. Well, apparently the sisters-in-laws decided to trek to Destin, Fla. and they took many photos along the way. There’s Carrie posing on a balcony with her family with everyone decked out in gorgeous dresses; a glowing Carrie posing for a selfie with the crew; Carrie and sibs-in-laws posing on the back of a boat; and Carrie posing with her jacked abs (and sisters-in-law) on the beach.

That’s when the photos started to get a little more wild, with Carrie & Co. mugging for the camera in various scenes, with a few shots of Carrie and the family getting new tattoos.

“Sisters…not by blood…but sisters nonetheless 💕,” she wrote in the caption. “God truly showed us great favor by putting us all together. These ladies are strong, kind and faithful and I’m so happy I get to do life with them!!! It’s true that you don’t get to choose your family, but if I could, I would choose these exact three women to be my sisters-in-law! From the beach to the tattoo parlor, Destin didn’t know what hit it! I love you ladies!!! #family #blessed #SistersInLaw”

People in the comments absolutely loved it. “I just love how you’re so normal like the rest of us!” one wrote. “This makes me soooo happy. Love that y’all did this. Such incredible women!!! ❤️” another said.

Carrie has worked with trainer Eve Overland for years. “Even though the touring life is high demand and schedules are crazy, we have a set routine and can guarantee that time together,” Overland previously told Women’s Health. “Carrie prioritizes her time to work out. That is her ‘me time’ to do something she truly enjoys and to start her day on a positive note.”

The two usually work out for 90 minutes at a time, doing things like squats, deadlifts, and lunges—among other moves. “We progress, add challenge, and mix things up by changing the amount of weight used, reps, tempo, and equipment,” Overland said. “Carrie is always up for a challenge. She loves to push her body. She continues to grow by trying new things and practices until it is mastered. She is a machine.” If that isn’t a glowing review… .

Carrie takes a mobile gym on tour, which features things like a leg press machine, a TRX, stability ball, cables, and mini bands that all get used during her workouts. The singer shared a photo on Instagram of that gym back in 2019, and it’s epic:

On the food front, Carrie is a vegetarian and a “wannabe vegan,” she previously joked to WH. She shared in 2020 that she tracks her food on the app MyFitnessPal, and tries to hit macros of 45% carbs, 30% fat, and 25% protein.

Apparently she has a green thumb, too. Carrie recently showed off her “garden haul” on Instagram and it’s impressive—large beets, carrots, snap peas, radishes, yellow squash, and kale were all in the mix. “The beet roots themselves are delicious, but I use the greens in salads and the stems in smoothies or chopped up in a sautéed veggie medley or stir fry…nothing wasted!” she wrote in the caption.
