Carrie Underwood Wore a See-Through Outfit Ahead of the CMA Awards and Fans Are Speechless

Carrie Underwood is putting out new music, but her fans can’t stop talking about another thing she does well: her fashion choices.

Ahead of her upcoming appearance at the 2022 CMA Awards, Carrie announced the music video for the single “Hate My Heart” from her latest album Denim & Rhinestones. The 4-minute clip, which debuted on YouTube on October 4, follows five women (including the “Before He Cheats” singer) as they bond after their respective breakups. The group decides they all need a night out and head to a concert, headlined by Carrie herself.

“Check out the official music video for #HateMyHeart RIGHT NOW! 😉,” she wrote on Instagram the same day. “Big thanks to @shaunmfsilva and all involved for bringing the fun on this one!”

While dedicated fans were ecstatic about the country star’s new project, there was one particular detail that stuck out. They were all blown away after seeing the former American Idol winner’s performance outfit. In the clip, she wore a see-through long-sleeve bodysuit featuring a fringe design and black short shorts with rips and studs. The artist pulled the look together with a pair of heels.
“Carrie looking fierce! [Love] the song and video!” one person wrote in the comments on YouTube. “Great song, you look amazing in the video and love your voice,” another added. “Great video Carrie! Those eyes and legs killing us,” a different fan said.
Carrie’s new music video comes after she announced a wave of career surprises. During a recent stop on her Denim and Rhinestones tour, Kelsea Ballerini came onstage to share that Carrie would be a performer at the 2023 CMT Awards in Austin, Texas. She is also nominated for an Entertainer of the Year award at the CMA Awards on November 9, her fourth nod in six years.

What’s more, Carrie has always found a way to stun her fans with her classic approach to fashion. Back in September, she looked ethereal wearing a sheer blue gown to honor country legend Vince Gill at CMT Giants.

If this video proves anything, it’s that Carrie never ceases to amaze her followers, outfits and all.
