Carrie Underwood delivered a bit of good news to her fans on Wednesday (June 3) during her virtual fan club party.

The superstar revealed that she’s been working on a full-length Christmas album and has plans to release it before the 2020 holiday season. While seated on a couch in what appeared to be her living room, Underwood shared that she’s been working on the album since wrapping her Cry Pretty Tour 360 last year.
The seven-time Grammy winner opted to host a virtual fan club party in lieu of her annual fan club party held during CMA Fest.
This will mark the superstar’s first full Christmas album. She previously released a holiday edition of her Carnival Ride album in 2007. The Walmart exclusive featured five Christmas classics, including “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,” “The First Noel,” “What Child Is This,” “O Holy Night” and “Do You Hear What I Hear.”
Underwood’s Christmas album follows the release of her first-ever book, FIND YOUR PATH: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong with the Fit52 Life, which hit shelves in March.
