Carrie Underwood Singing Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” Will Give You Goosebumps

Carrie Underwood

Proof that Carrie Underwood is one of the greatest country singers of her generation.

It’s a pretty indisputable fact that “I Will Always Love You” is one of the most iconic songs in country music history. Though the song was written and recorded by Dolly Parton in 1973, it became even more well known when Whitney Houston recorded her version of the song for The Bodyguard, her 1992 film with Kevin Costner. Since then, the song has been covered dozens of times, including a showstopping version by Carrie Underwood.

Carrie sang the tune when she was a guest on The Bobby Bones Show, a popular country radio show based out of Nashville. Though she was on the show back in March, the video is just now resurfacing on the heels of the mega-successful “Forever Country” music video that was released in September. (“I Will Always Love You” makes up one-third of the mashup.)
