Carrie Underwood, Maddie & Tae and Runaway June are taking the stage together again for the Cracker Barrel Sounds of the Season holiday feature on Wednesday night (Dec. 16).
The restaurant franchise is bringing Underwood back together with her all-female tourmates from last year’s Cry Pretty 360 Tour. The country singers will participate in holiday-oriented conversations, games and performances while recalling their favorite traditions with their loved ones.
“I had a blast reuniting with my former tourmates and friends Maddie & Tae and Runaway June for the Cracker Barrel Sounds of the Season holiday feature,” Underwood exclusively tells Billboard. “Music brings people joy and we hope our holiday get-together brings cheer and lifts spirits this season.”
The seven-time Grammy-winning star will treat fans to performances from her chart-topping Christmas album My Gift and collaborations with Maddie & Tae and Runaway June. Cracker Barrel will upload the performances on its social media channels, where they will stay up for the remainder of December, and play each acts’ first-ever Christmas projects in its old country stores across the nation.
Maddie & Tae released their six-song Christmas EP We Need Christmas in October, around the same time Runaway June dropped their five-song When I Think About Christmas – EP.

“All three of us have released our first Christmas album/EP and original Christmas songs this year, and it’s incredibly special to have Cracker Barrel bring us all together to celebrate musical holiday traditions and to be able to make them our own in this way,” Maddie & Tae said in a statement.
“We are so appreciative of Cracker Barrel, whose commitment to supporting women in country music continues with this campaign, for letting us be a part of bringing the joyful sounds of the holidays to homes nationwide,” said Runaway June.
Cracker Barrel Sounds of the Season will premiere Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on Cracker Barrel’s Facebook and YouTube pages. The special feature will continue to be available for the remainder of the holiday season.
