Carrie Underwood Has Always Loved Animals
Carrie Underwood is a huge animal lover. Her C.A.T.S Foundation was established in part to help with causes related to animal welfare in her hometown of Checotah, Oklahoma.
On top of that, Carrie is also a vegetarian, though she tries to eat vegan as often as she can.
Carrie and her husband, Mike Fisher, have lots have animals on their property in Tennessee. They have three dogs (Penny, Zero, and Charlie), cows, horses, and chickens. To top it off, they just welcomed THREE new furry family members!
Meet The Newest Members Of Carrie & Mike’s Family
Taking to Instagram, Carrie shared that her family just welcomed three new donkeys to “EH-OK Farm Fam.” The new arrivals came from Lindsey Cardinale, who competed with Carrie on Season 4 of American Idol.
Carrie said they have a pregnant mama donkey, “a daddy and a little dude!“ Two of the donkeys will eventually go live with some friends who have a house close by. But Carrie promised they’d “have lots of family reunions” between the donkeys so they can see each other.
The “Out of That Truck” singer shared a bunch of photos of the donkeys, including some adorable snapshots of her sons (Isaiah and Jacob) interacting with the animals.
Carrie’s followers were happy to see the pictures of her family’s newest members. Some of the comments on her post were:
