Have You Always Wanted Legs Like Carrie?
Carrie Underwood may be beloved worldwide for her gorgeous voice, but there’s far more things that the “Cry Pretty” singer is known for. One of those things is her fit physique, which she earns through a dedicated workout regime.
Perhaps more than any other feature, Underwood gets an abundant of compliments on her legs. These compliments come from a source of fascination, as many wonder how they can get their legs to look as fit as hers.
While Underwood certainly takes part in some intense workouts, her toned legs result from some pretty simple steps. She finally spilled her secrets while speaking to POPSUGAR at an event for her fitness apparel line, CALIA by Carrie.
Here’s Her Secrets…
As Underwood shared, her toned legs result from a few simple moves. So simple in fact, that you could do them right here, right now, no equipment needed.
“I do a lot of squats and lunges,” she said. She revealed that she’s always finding a place to work out, even while at the park with her son. Squats and lunges are easy exercises she can do while she watches him, but they still keep her legs strong.
In addition to doing squats and lunges at the park, Underwood gets a bit creative by using the playground as gym equipment.
“We have a little park in our area we live in, and it’s not anything super fancy, but it has monkey bars, and it has a step-up, and there’s a bench there,” she said. “You’d be amazed at the things you can come up with.”
Adding Lunges To Runs
Underwood doesn’t just save her squats and lunges for the park. She also incorporates the latter move into her runs for a little extra challenge.
She explained how that works:
“In my neighborhood, it’s pretty hilly. So if I’m going to go for a jog, I’ll lunge up the hills so I’m not just running. But sometimes I’m like, ‘I’m going to do a bazillion lunges just because.’”
So there you have it folks! Just a couple of easy moves can help you get legs that are fit and toned like Underwood’s!
