Carrie Underwood Looks Stronger Than Ever in New Beach Photo

Summer is almost here and just like the rest of us, Carrie Underwood is ready to soak up some sun.

After several months of keeping a low profile following her scary fall outside her Nashville home, the country singer recently stepped out in a black bikini top from her Calia by Carrie Underwood activewear line. Despite her injuries and scars, Carrie looks stronger and healthier than ever.

For several months, the singer has been hard at work recovering and working on new music. In fact, this is one of the first off-duty moments she’s shared with fans since her comeback at the Academy of Country Music awards in April.

And even though she broke her wrist and had to get over 40 stitches to her face due to her “freak accident,” the activewear designer remains committed to her health and working out. “I was trying to stay with it,” she told Women’s Health earlier this month. “I just feel better when I do something. So if I had an injury that I was working through, I didn’t want the rest of me to feel icky too, you know?”

Since her injury, Carrie also shared that she’s got some exciting things in store for 2018, but that fans should expect some changes. “I am determined to make 2018 amazing and I want to share things with you along the way,” she wrote to fans on her website, “and when I am ready to get in front of a camera, I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different.”

With her injuries healed and new music on the way, we’re sure 2018 will be a big year for the star!
