There is nothing Carrie Underwood loves more than her husband, Mike Fisher, and their two adorable sons — Isaiah and Jacob. The couple’s journey to parenthood started when they met in 2008 and got engaged one year later. They tied the knot on July 10, 2010, and on February 27, 2015, the “Before He Cheats” singer revealed she welcomed their first baby boy into the world.
“Tiny hands and tiny feet … God has blessed us with an amazing gift!” she wrote on Facebook next to a snap of Isaiah’s little hand. Since the musician wanted her kids to be close in age, she tried to make Isaiah an older brother as soon as possible, but sadly she suffered three miscarriages before she revealed she was pregnant with Jacob in August 2018.
“I just had an honest conversation with God. I was hurt, and I told him how I felt,” she said in Mike and Carrie: God & Country, and Mike added, “You have all these mountaintops, but we hadn’t had a ton of valleys like this.”
When Carrie welcomed Jacob on January 21, 2019, she gave him a big shout-out on Instagram. “His mom, dad and big brother couldn’t be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle!” she wrote in her birth announcement. “Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good.”

Now, as a mom of two, Carrie has been trying to find the perfect balance between her work and family life. She’s managed to do it all by bringing her kids with her on tour.
“One of my favorite things about the #CryPrettyTour360 is having my family out on the road with me,” she said on Instagram in September 2019. “I just hope I’m making my boys proud of their mama. #blessed #boymom #Wichita.” By spending even more time together on the road, Isaiah and Jacob have grown closer together. Isaiah especially loves to pretend his little brother is his baby.
“He says, ‘My baby. Where is my baby?’” She laughed about her kid on the ACM red carpet in April 2019. “He is really sweet.”

On tour, Isaiah had a great time watching his mom perform onstage. Who knows? Maybe one day he’ll become a singer too!
For Mother’s Day, Mike shared this amazing photo of Carrie and Jacob. “Beautiful, fun, loving, kind, faithful, nurturing and competitive. Just a few words to describe the most important women in my life. Love you!” he said in the caption.
