Carrie Underwood Gets Surrounded By Massive Swarm Of Bees While Picking Blueberries
Carrie Underwood Had An Unexpected Run-In With A Swarm Of Bees
Carrie Underwood’s peaceful day of picking blueberries came to a sudden end when she found herself surrounded by bees.
Fans of the “Jesus, Take the Wheel” singer know that when Underwood isn’t on stage, she enjoys the quiet life at her home in Tennessee.
She often spends time on her farm, where she cares for her animals and grows her own fruits and vegetables.
But, over the weekend, what started as a nice day outdoors turned into a scary moment when she was picking blueberries in her private orchard and found herself a little too close for comfort with a swarm of bees.
The American Idol judge shared the incident on her Instagram story on Sunday, June 29.
She said she had picked nearly eight gallons of blueberries that day before the bees took over the bushes she was near.
Underwood posted photos and a video of when it happened, starting with a clip that showed the large amount of bees flying over the area where she had been.
“Had to get out of the orchard when the bees started swarming,” she wrote on top of the clip.
Although the situation would have scared most people, Underwood seemed completely unfazed by the bees. The country superstar even posted a close-up photo of herself near them, which had all gathered on one blueberry bush.
She told her followers that if they were still there the next day, she might be tempted to catch them.

Now that life has slown down a bit for Underwood, with her Las Vegas residency ending in April and her time as an American Idol judge wrapping up in May, she has more time to enjoy life at her farm.
And by the looks of it, her next hobby might just be beekeeping!
