Apparently singing is a family affair for Carrie Underwood‘s house!
The longtime country superstar and her husband, former NHL star Mike Fisher, went for a nice weekend drive with their young son and along the way started singing some current radio hits…but this wasn’t just any song.

Filming from the passenger seat, Carrie captured the perfect moment when her single, “Cry Pretty,” came on the radio and hubby Mike started belting it out as if he was on stage singing it!
While you might expect him to have a much deeper singing voice, it’s clear that he was using his marvelous falsetto talents to hit each note…or close to.
You can hear a few giggles from Carrie during the in-car performance, and without hesitation – Mike breaks out into an impromptu, growling riff that sounds like something Axl Rose would do.
“You gonna start your new career as a country singer, babe?” Carrie asks him playfully as he grins.
“I’ve heard that many, many times,” he said, joking.
Little Isaiah giggles from the back seat as both his parents chuckle at the whole situation.

Sharing the video with fans on social media, Carrie captioned it with “Sounds just like the original” in a playful poke at her husband’s vocal might!
