Carrie Underwood fans, you’re going to want to pay attention to the singer’s big news.
Ahead of her upcoming performance at the 2022 CMA Awards on November 9, Carrie took to social media to give her fans major updates about her career. The former American Idol winner recently revealed she was not only officially back on the road, but she already performed in two cities to promote her latest album, Denim & Rhinestones.
“Opening night on the #DenimAndRhinestonesTour was incredible!” she wrote on TikTok. “We are just getting started – come out and see us!!”

But that’s not all Carrie’s got up her sleeve this year. She also took to Instagram to celebrate her 2022 People’s Choice Award nomination. Alongside musicians like Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert and Thomas Rhett, she’s nominated for Country Artist of 2022. This is all before she’s slated to perform at the 2022 American Music Awards on November 20, where she’s up for two awards.
While Carrie’s been busy sharing more highs from her illustrious career, her fans were right behind her to give their support. What’s more, they revealed their excitement over the singer’s schedule all over social media.
“You’ve been my inspiration since American Idol. I [strive] to be just half the woman you are. 🥰,” one fan gushed on TikTok. “There never should be anybody else nominated as country artist of the year [but] Carrie Underwood,” another follower declared on Instagram. “Carrie Underwood always has my vote #1 in my book!!!!” a different person added.
As far as how long the Denim & Rhinestones tour is expected to go on for, Carrie has a few more performances before breaking for the holidays in mid-November. After a quick hiatus, she’ll head back out starting February 2023.
