Carrie Underwood just shared that she has the potential to achieve another career milestone, and fans insist on helping her accomplish it.
On March 8, the American Idol alum revealed to her followers that she received two nominations for this year’s 2023 CMT Music Awards. According to an official press release, Carrie is up for Video of the Year for her single “Hate My Heart” and Female Video of the Year for her song “Ghost Story.” But that’s not all for the country superstar. In a post added to her Instagram, she announced that folks can help her win by voting on the official awards site.
“Congratulations, Carrie on your 2023 @CMT Music Awards nominations for Video of the Year with ‘Hate My Heart’ and Female Video of the Year with ‘Ghost Story!'” read the caption. “🎉 You can vote every day at vote.cmt.com until 12PM EST on March 27. #CMTawards.”

When fans learned of Carrie’s latest news, they immediately ran to the comments section to express their excitement. What’s more, they issued a few demands of their own.
“Already maxed out today’s votes! Forever proud of you!!! Here we go again 💗👏🏻,” one person wrote on Instagram. “Yes just give it to her 🔥👏,” another agreed. “You deserve it. Hope you win it all,” a different user added.
Should the “Denim and Rhinestones” singer scoop up the two wins, she will break her record of 25 CMT Music Awards already in her singing arsenal. Plus, viewers won’t just see her sitting in the audience at the event. As co-host Kelsea Ballerini revealed in November 2022, Carrie is also set to perform live from Austin’s Moody Center on April 2.
Needless to say, Carrie will make a splash come awards time and we can’t wait to see if her fans’ hard work pays off.
