It’s no secret that Carrie Underwood is one of the best pure vocalists in all of music.
Her country music success is well-documented, but recently she released the first Christmas album of her career, My Gift.
Featuring tradition Christmas tunes like “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “Silent Night,” and more, as well as new originals like “Let There Be Peace,” and “Sweet Baby Jesus,” for Carrie, the project was a dream come true, and couldn’t have come at a better time.
“I’ve always wanted to make a Christmas album and it’s been a long time coming. I knew this would be my next music project after wrapping my tour last year, and I think it’s turned out to be the perfect time for an album like this, in this period of such personal and spiritual reflection.

For me, it’s more important than ever to focus on the true meaning of Christmas in a project like this. Even though it has been a tough year for all of us, sometimes I feel like the greatest realizations can be inspired by the most difficult times, and make us more grateful for the things we do have and for what truly matters.”
Carrie recently stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and delivered a jaw dropping cover of the Christmas classic “O Holy Night.”
She also performed a Christmas original, “Let There Be Peace,” on The Today Show this morning.
