
Blake Shelton & Keith Urban’s “The Road” Finally Reveals Premiere Date – Learn When To Tune In
CBS Orders New Compettion Series Featuring Country Stars Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, And Gretchen Wilson
Those who’ve been waiting for CBS to share the premiere date for The Road finally got their wish.
To catch you up to speed, The Road is a new competition series coming to CBS and Paramount+. The program will follow 12 aspiring musicans as they tour alongside an established superstar to see what life on the road is all about.
Former Voice coach Blake Shelton and Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan will serve as executive producers. Shelton will also appear on the show itself, starring alongside fellow country singers Keith Urban and Gretchen Wilson.
Urban is the headliner the contestants will be opening for on The Road. Meanwhile, Wilson will serve as the show’s “tour manager.” Through her role, Wilson will help guide the contestants through the tour and the competition.
The Road Sets Premiere Date Two Weeks After Introducing The Cast Of Competitors
Hype around The Road has been high, and fans have eagerly been awaiting the series’ debut. Up until recently, we ony knew to expect its premiere episode sometime in the fall.
Anticipation built to an all-time high after The Road introduced its cast of contestants on June 25. Those contestants are:
Adam Sanders – From Lake City, Florida
Billie Jo Jones – From Emory, Texas
Blaine Bailey – From Tahlequah, Oklahoma
Briana Adams – From Winchester, Texas
Britnee Kellogg – From Anthem, Arizona
Cassidy Daniels – From Marion, North Carolina
Channing Wilson – From LaFayette, Georgia
Cody Hibbard – From Adair, Oklahoma
Forrest McCurren – From Jefferson City, Missouri
Jenny Tolman – From Nashville, Tennessee
Jon Wood – From Wake Forest, North Carolina
Olivia Harms – From Canby, Oregon
Then, two weeks later, on July 11, The Road finally announced when it will premiere. Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 19!
