“The Elle King event, originally for Fri. 1/26/24 has been rescheduled to Sat. 9/21/24 @ 10 PM. Original event tickets will be accepted for the new date. Refunds are available at the point of purchase. Thank you for your understanding!”
This decision follows Elle King’s controversial appearance at the Grande Ole Opry during a Dolly Parton tribute concert on January 19.
Elle King’s performance at the Grand Ole Opry has created a social media storm, with video footage circulating online capturing the singer openly admitting to being drunk before delivering what fans are deeming a “disrespectful” rendition of Dolly Parton’s song “Marry Me.” The footage shows King slurring her words, using explicit language, and acknowledging her state of intoxication while on stage.
Billy Bob’s Texas has replied to the cancellation of the performance, informing their followers that their house band will be taking the stage instead of Elle King for the night.
