Jelly Roll Celebrates Losing 200 Pounds
Country star Jelly Roll has revealed that he’s lost 200 pounds in his ongoing weight-loss journey. The 40-year-old shared the milestone in a motivational speech to the Tennessee Titans during their training camp.
A lifelong Titans fan, Jelly Roll joked with the players, “I can’t get on the field yet, but I’m getting close. If I lose another 50 pounds, I’m signing a contract.” His words drew applause from the team and staff.
A Public Health Journey Since 2022
Jelly Roll began his health transformation in December 2022. At his heaviest, he weighed 540 pounds. By April 2024, he had dropped to 357 pounds — a total of 183 pounds lost. His goal: shed another 100 pounds and go skydiving with his wife, Bunnie Xo.
The Struggle With Food Addiction
The “Save Me” singer admits his biggest challenge isn’t exercise — it’s food addiction. “If you’re really battling obesity, you have to start at the dinner table,” he explained. He compared his struggle with food to his past battles with substance abuse.
Staying Disciplined on Tour
Even on tour, Jelly Roll stays active with walking, basketball, and boxing. By October 2024, he had passed the 100-pound milestone. In December, he told fans on Bunnie Xo’s Dumb Blonde podcast that he wanted to lose weight publicly to inspire others facing the same battle.
His Goal for 2026
Jelly Roll’s next goal is bold — to appear on the cover of Men’s Health by March 2026. “I want one of the biggest transformations,” he said, proving that his weight-loss journey is far from over.
