Shelton Credits Gwen Stefani For His Renewed Faith
It’s pretty common for country singers to write songs about their faith. Heck, some even release full albums about it. Shelton doesn’t have a lot of religious songs, but one that comes to mind is 2016’s “Savior’s Shadow,” which peaked at #14 on the Hot Christian Songs chart.
While Shelton is known for his sense of humor and fun-loving attitude, his love for God is prevalent.
During the interniew, Bannen asked him, “Do you have a different or changing relationship with your faith now being in your mid- 40s?”
Without hesitation, he said, “Yeah, I would say that. And that comes from Gwen’s influence. I’ve learned so much from her. She’s really the person that’s has helped me get in touch with my faith, and get serious about it, and not just something you say at an award show.”
