An unnamed source revealed that the intruder got in by breaking a glass window.

The country superstar and his Academy Award-winning wife were out of town when the crime happened. It appears that they were both in Las Vegas at the time of the incident, as per a post shared on Keith’s Instagram. He is currently doing a 10-show run at the Fountainbleu Las Vegas.

However, one of their staff members arrived at the property just as the person of interest had entered. Upon hearing the employee approach, the intruder quickly fled the scene.

Right now, there aren’t many public details about the attempted burglary. It’s also unclear if anything was stolen, as that can only be confirmed once Keith and Nicole return home.

Authorities have not determined whether the incident was a random crime, or if their home was specifically targeted.
