Austin City Limits, which premiered on PBS in 1975, will kick off its 50th season on September 28. The ACL Hall of Fame, established in 2014, honors artists who have significantly contributed to the series’ rich history. Fun fact: October 17, 2024, will mark 50 years to the day that Willie Nelson recorded the first-ever episode of Austin City Limits.

Garth Brooks is certainly a well-deserving candidate for this honor. Congratulations to him on his induction into the ACL Hall of Fame!
