Ella Langley embraced Halloween spirit with flair during her performance on Saturday night in St. Paul, Minnesota, as she and her band dressed as characters from Toy Story.
Langley’s concert, held on October 31, featured an all-out costume theme, with the singer portraying Jessie and her bandmates transformed into Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and others. Despite the festive atmosphere, Langley addressed an unexpected issue when candy began to be thrown onstage, reminding her audience of the potential safety hazards associated with such antics.
Addressing Safety Concerns on Stage
In a clip shared on TikTok, Langley expressed her surprise at the volume of candy being tossed, saying, “Where does all this candy keep coming from? What the hell?” She then took it upon herself to clear the area, tossing the disruptive treats off the stage while emphasizing the importance of safety. “I know it’s Halloween, but I ain’t trying to trip and die. Damn!” she noted with a distinct Alabama accent, reflecting her commitment to maintaining a secure performance environment.
Her remarks resonate with experiences shared by other country artists; Riley Green, for instance, suffered an injury from a phone thrown at him earlier this year. Notable artists such as Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Wallen have similarly encountered projectiles during performances, highlighting the risks that can accompany live shows.
A Night of Costumes and Celebration
In addition to Langley’s playful interaction with her audience, the Halloween night concert marked another milestone as it concluded her 2026 Dandelion Tour and was the last event on her schedule for the year. Among the festivities, opener Kameron Marlowe joined the stage in costume as Mario, while Langley’s parents delighted fans by participating in a shot onstage, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
Looking ahead, Langley hinted at her return to touring in 2027, expressing her passion for life on the road. “Am I going on tour next year? Have I gone on tour every year? Of course!” she stated, showcasing her enthusiasm for upcoming performances. Fans can expect more from Langley in the future, as she continues to make her mark in the country music scene.
