Gavin Adcock has unveiled his latest single, “Most Wanted,” but fans will need to temper their excitement as no new music is expected for quite some time.
The song debuted on October 16, marking it as Adcock’s final release for the foreseeable future. This announcement follows closely on the heels of the release of his album, The Day I Hang It Up, earlier this month. As he steps back from new music, Adcock has extended his tour into 2027, ensuring fans will have numerous chances to see him perform live.
Fan Appreciation and Future Plans
In his announcement, Adcock expressed heartfelt gratitude to his supporters. He emphasized the importance of their encouragement, stating, “I just wanted to say I love y’all so much. This is the last song I’m dropping for a long while. I appreciate every single one of y’all’s support.”

Exploring Adcock’s Musical Journey
Adcock’s The Day I Hang It Up, which launched on October 2, follows his previous album, Own Worst Enemy. With “Most Wanted,” he continues to showcase his unique blend of traditional country sounds and contemporary influences.
Gavin Adcock’s ‘Most Wanted’ Lyrics:
Somethin’ felt wrong, and my world started shakin’
Sirens ran off as you blew on in
Head started turnin’, and I started thinkin’
They will come in to get me again
If wanting somebody this bad’s a crime
Then they better take me in
It’s my face on the poster baby
But just like a thief, you steal the show
Some folks say I’m a real bad man
But baby, you’re most wanted
