The country singer, who hails from Muskogee, Oklahoma, is considered one of the top country singers in the world. Not only has she come out with several successful studio albums, but she’s also toured all over the world, guest starred on popular shows (like How I Met Your Mother and Blue Bloods), and has even shared the stage with fellow music greats like Céline Dion, Reba McEntire, and Dolly Parton. 2005 Country Music Awards Music Festival
Here, Carrie Underwood is pictured taking the stage at the 2005 CMA Music Festival in Nashville. The singer had recently won American Idol a couple of months earlier. As part of her prize, she was given a blue Ford Mustang convertible, which, she shared in a recent interview, she still drives around today.
“Broadway Meets Country” Benefit
Later that year, Underwood joined actor Patrick Wilson to perform during the Broadway Meets Country Benefit in New York City. The two did their own rendition of “Suddenly Seymour” from the Broadway hit musical, Little Shop of Horrors.
In 2006, the Oklahoma native sang at the Academy of Country Music’s New Artists’ showcase, which was held at the MGM Grand Ballroom in Las Vegas.
49th Annual Grammy Awards
For the 49th Annual Grammy Awards, Underwood dueted with Gary LeVox, the lead singer of the Rascal Flatts.
2008 Country Music Awards Music Festival
The songstress performed yet again at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville. Dressed in a bright orange ruffled top and khaki shorts, the star sang some of her popular hits in front of an excited crowd. Other names on the lineup that weekend included Taylor Swift, Sugarland, Kellie Pickle, and Faith Hill.
2009 Good Morning America Performance
In 2009, Underwood flew out to New York City’s Lincoln Center to appear on the popular morning talk show Good Morning America. Outfitted in leather gloves and a black coat, she was there to promote her then-upcoming album, Play On.
52nd Annual Grammy Awards
The singer was invited back to perform at the Grammy Awards in 2010. This time she took the stage with other big names, including Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, and Usher. The group performed a Michael Jackson tribute by singing his 1995 song, “Earth Song.”
Academy of Country Music Presents Girls’ Night Out: Superstar Women of Country
Not too long after, Underwood joined forces with other country stars, including Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Naomi Judd, Wynona Judd, and Jennifer Nettles, to perform at the Girls Night Out: Superstar Women of Country concert. The group sang “Coal Miner’s Daughter” by country icon Loretta Lynn.
London Showcase
In 2012, a 29-year-old Underwood crossed the pond to London to perform at The Arts Club in the city’s Mayfair neighborhood.

Underwood put on a dazzling show dressed in an eye-catching high-low dress at the Stockton Arena in 2013.
55th Annual Grammy Awards
The famous country singer performed at the Grammys in 2013 dressed in an iconic light-up dress that was designed by Irish fashion designer Don O’Neill.
World Aids Day (RED) Concert
Underwood was part of the star-studded World AIDS Day (RED) Concert in Times Square. Other performers that night included Bruce Springsteen, Kanye West, and Chris Martin of Coldplay.
Faster Horses Festival
In the summer of 2015, the country crooner belted out some of her most popular songs at the Faster Horses Festival in Brooklyn, Michigan. The annual country music fest showcases the best of the best in country music. This year’s lineup includes the likes of Shania Twain, Luke Bryan, Zac Brown Band, and Dwight Yoakam.
Country 2 Country Festival
She also performed at London’s Country 2 Country Festival at the O2 Arena. The music fest, which started a decade ago, has had many famous country singers participate through the years, including Kacey Musgraves, Chris Stapleton, and Luke Combs.
Live in Los Angeles
Underwood wore a gorgeous purple and pink chiffon dress to perform in Los Angeles during her Storyteller tour. Her opening acts included Little Big Town, Sam Hunt, Lauren Alaina, and Maddie & Tae.
At the Drive-In
Underwood joined fellow country performer Brad Paisley, virtually during the pandemic, for Live Nation’s drive-in concert series, Live From The Drive-In. The two sang their hit song “Remind Me.”

Stagecoach Festival
We can’t get over Underwood’s fringed jean jacket she wore for the 2022 Stagecoach Festival.
