On April 8, Korean media outlets confirmed that TXT would be performing on an upcoming episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

On April 16 (local time), TXT will appear on the show and perform the song “We Lost the Summer,” a song off their mini album “minisode1: Blue Hour.” The album came out in October and features the title track “Blue Hour.”

“We Lost the Summer” talks about struggling over missing loved ones and losing out on experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. English singer-songwriter Charli XCX took part in creating the track, and the choreography includes moves that reflect the current situation where people “want to be together but can’t.”

Previously in May of last year, TXT performed “Can’t You See Me?” on the American music program show “MTV Fresh Out Live,” and in November, they performed “Blue Hour” on Genius’s “Open Mic.”
