Carrie Underwood’s husband, Mike Fisher, turned to Instagram to show his love and appreciation for his wife on Mother’s Day. The post featured several photos of the country star with their two sons.
The first shot shows Underwood smiling at the camera while holding on tight to their 1-year-old son, Jacob, out in a hay field. The third picture finds Underwood tickling Jacob as their oldest son, Isaiah, watches from the couch. For the fourth and final photo Fisher honored his mother, Karen Fisher. The photo shows the two of them together at the 2019 CMA Awards which Underwood co-hosted alongside Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton.
“Beautiful, Fun, loving, kind, faithful, nurturing and competitive,” Fisher gushed in the caption. “Just a few words to describe the most important women in my life. Love you! Happy Mother’s Day!”
Underwood also turned to Instagram herself to wish her mother, Carole, a Happy Mother’s Day. She also shared a photo of the card that her Isaiah and Jacob made for her. “Happy Mother’s Day Mom,” the card reads with red hearts drawn in. “We love you, mommy, forever and ever! You are the best mom in the universe!”
“How am I so blessed to be able to call this woman ‘Mom,’ and to have the two sweetest boys call me by the same name,” Underwood wrote in the caption. “Happy Mother’s Day, Mom, and to all the mothers out there. May your breakfasts be in bed, may your mimosas be bottomless and may your babies shower you with hugs and kisses!!! Thank God for MOMS!!!”
Like everyone else, the couple has been quarantined at home with their kids amid the coronavirus pandemic. Underwood seems to be enjoying the extra family time as much as she can based on the few social media posts she’s shared.
As far as music goes, Underwood’s current single is “Drinking Alone” from her Cry Pretty album. At this time her next live show is scheduled for July 23 in California. For the latest updates on Underwood’s tour, fans can visit her website here.
