Happy Father’s Day! Drake, Carrie Underwood, Drake, other stars share photos and love

Happy Father’s Day.

You could tell your dad in person how much you appreciate him. But what fun is that when you can tell the world on Instagram and Twitter?

Many stars took to social media to do just that Sunday, posting to their dads, their kids, dads of the heart or just other dads they admire.

Take a look:

Rapper Drake posted an adorable photo of his 2-year-old son, Adonis Graham, captioning the post, “Happy Fathers Day to all the real g’z handling business.”

Adonis, whose mother is French model Sophie Brussaux, made his Instagram debut earlier this year.

The 33-year-old also took to his Instagram Stories shout out fellow celebrity fathers including Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Charles Oakley and LeBron James.

Katherine Schwarzenegger, pregnant with her first child, had a loving, two-fold message for husband Chris Pratt, whose 41st birthday was Sunday.

Alongside a panel of photos of the pair, she said, “I thank God every day for you. blessed to live life with you, watch you grow, and one of the greatest gifts has been watching you be the most loving and fun father.”

The holiday falling in the midst of nationwide protests over racial discrimination made Justin Timberlake philosophical.

“Boys grow up to be fathers. I think about that a lot these days,” the singer said alongside photos of him with his son, Silas. “We try to teach our son to love and to respect everyone — we teach him that all people are all created equal, and that no one should be treated differently because of the color of their skin. We teach him this because one day, he will go on to teach his kids the same. It’s a cycle.

Boys grow up to be fathers. I think about that a lot these days. We try to teach our son to love and to respect everyone — we teach him that all people are all created equal, and that no one should be treated differently because of the color of their skin. We teach him this because one day, he will go on to teach his kids the same. It’s a cycle. And right now, as we all work to undo generations of discrimination that have plagued our system and our communities across this country… I’m reminded today that the first lessons start at home. Im grateful for both of my dads and my mother for teaching me those lessons from the beginning. And for listening to me when I had something to say that they hadn’t learned. I pray for that humility with my own son. I’m grateful for my wife, who made me a father, and is my favorite person/partner/teacher/friend in all of it. I’m grateful for my son, who is always ALWAYS teaching me right back. ⠀ ⠀ Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there. While we owe our sons and daughters these lessons in the places where the doors close at night, I hope you are as inspired as I am to make them THE TRUTH in the places that same door opens every morning and we send them out to discover. There’s more to do. And we are built for it. After all, we are the Dads. Sending my love to you and yours.

Carrie Underwood paid tribute to the two dads in her life: her father, Steve, and husband Mike Fisher.

“How blessed am I to have 2 amazing fathers in my life?!?!,” she captioned her post alongside photos of her guys. “To my dad: you think I’m strong. You think I’m fearless…even when I’m at my weakest. … And to the father of my sweet boys: thanks for loving on all of us so well. Isaiah and Jake want to be just like you and I can think of no better example of what a father’s love should look like.”
