Carrie Underwood Responds to an Invitation to New Kids on the Block’s “House Party”

Carrie Underwood

If you’ve ever been to a Carrie Underwood concert, you know the talented songbird can also shake her tail feathers. Even if you haven’t been to a show, you may have seen the coordination she exhibits in one of the commercial spots for her Calia by Carrie Underwood fitness apparel. But girlfriend is totally busting a move when she appears as a special guest in New Kids on the Block’s music video for their new song, “House Party.”

While credited vocalists on the song are NKOTB, Big Freedia, Boys II Men, Naughty by Nature, and Jordin Sparks, guests in the music video include the families of many of the singers, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, phyician-turned-comedic-actor Ken Jeong, singer and dancer Derek Hough, hip-hop duo Kid ’n Play, and country music’s sweetheart, looking adorable in braids and a New Kids’ t-shirt.

As catchy as the song’s lyrics, beat and groove are and as fun as the music video is, there’s plenty of purpose to this “House Party” besides getting us all up off of our couches and onto our feet. A whopping 100% of the proceeds from the sales of “House Party” merchandise goes to the No Kid Hungry Fund, which provides nutritious food to America’s vulnerable children and teaches their families how to prepare affordable meals. Hurry though! There are limited supplies of the tees, tanks and hoodies.

This isn’t Carrie’s first time to “perform” with New Kids on the Block. Back in 2015, when the band stopped in Nashville during their tour, Carrie joined them on stage.
